EPO reverse suction horizontal centrifugal pumps

The EPO reverse suction horizontal centrifugal pumps have been specifically designed and built for handling highly abrasive liquids such as slurries and ceramic glazes, water with suspended solids, sewage, sand, grit, chips from marble cutting, wastewater from steel mills, acids, etc.

The long-lasting tungsten carbide seals are housed in a sealed chamber with oil or water flushing.

The side suction design keeps the seals under vacuum, extending their service life. This type of centrifugal pump can also operate above the liquid level if properly primed.

The indirect drive allows the speed of the centrifugal pump to be selected to better define the working curve. In this configuration, standardized electric motors are used. The sturdy fixing base is made of pressed and folded stainless steel sheet. The internal drive shaft is coated with a thick layer of hard chrome. The bodies and impellers are coated with special anti-abrasive rubber compounds or made of hard materials (hardalloy). The open-type impellers allow the passage of suspended solids, even large ones.

EPO horizontal centrifugal pumps are available in various sizes and powers, please refer to the tables provided in the “documentation”.
