Grundfos NBE and NKE pumps are NB and NK pumps equipped with a motor with built-in frequency converter and the necessary application software to achieve an all-in-one solution enabling electronic speed control.

Electronic speed control enables continuously variable control of motor speed which again enables adaptation of the performance to a given requirement.

If a sensor is installed, NBE and NKE pumps allow for any of these configurations and control methods:

• constant pressure
• proportional control
• temperature control
• constant flow.

Grundfos NBE, NKE pumps with 2-pole motors up to 22 kW and 4- pole motors up to 22 kW are fitted with Grundfos permanent-magnet MGE motors. Grundfos NBE, NKE pumps with motors from 30 kW 2-pole or 4-pole to 55 kW 2-pole or 4- pole are Nidec permanent-magnet motors coupled with Grundfos CUE. All these motors have efficiency class IE5 according to IEC 60034-30-2.
