The Lowara e-HM pump is a high-pressure horizontal multistage centrifugal pump, non-self-priming, with axial suction and radial threaded discharge, equipped with a mechanical seal.
The e-HM series pumps have a monobloc design and are equipped with special Lowara motors. The Lowara e-HM pumps are highly modular and feature an innovative hydraulic design that ensures high performance and increased mean time between failures.

The e-HM pumps are available in two different configurations:

• “Compact” design for 1HM, 3HM, and 5HM sizes up to 6 stages
• “Sleeve” design for 1HM, 3HM, and 5HM sizes with 7 stages or more; for all 10HM, 15HM, and 22HM models.

The “Compact” design features a monobloc pump body made of stainless steel directly connected to the motor flange. The “Compact” version has a single O-ring seal for the pump body, significantly reducing the possibility of leaks.

The “Sleeve” design consists of an external stainless steel sleeve with TIG welding and a separate suction pump body, held together by an aluminum cast bracket for the pump and stainless steel tie rods screwed to the motor flange.

The e-HM pump is available in three different material combinations:

• HM..P: stainless steel pump body (EN 1.4301/ AISI 304) with technopolymer impeller for 1HM, 3HM, 5HM, and 10HM sizes up to 6 stages
• HM..S: stainless steel (EN 1.4301/ AISI 304)
• HM..N: stainless steel (EN 1.4401/ AISI 316)

• Head: up to 159 m.
• Ambient temperature: – Single-phase version: from -15°C to +45°C. – Three-phase version: from -15°C to +50°C.
• Minimum pumped liquid temperature: from -10°C to -30°C, depending on seal material.
• Maximum pumped liquid temperature: – Single-phase version: +90°C – Three-phase version: up to +120°C, depending on the model and mechanical seal used
• Maximum operating pressure: – Pumps with technopolymer impellers: 10 bar (PN 10) – Pumps with stainless steel impellers: up to 16 bar (PN 16), depending on the model and mechanical seal used
• Hydraulic connections: threaded suction and discharge (Rp).
• Hydraulic performance compliant with ISO 9906:2012 – Grade 3B (formerly ISO 9906:1999 – Annex A).

MOTOR
The e-HM pumps are equipped with surface motors designed and manufactured according to EN standards. The e-HM series can also be equipped with variable speed systems.

• Squirrel cage motor with TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled) design.
• 2 poles.
• IP 55 protection class as a motor (EN 60034-5).
• IP X5 protection as an electropump (EN 60335-1).
• Insulation class 155 (F).
• Performance according to EN 60034-1.
• Standard voltage: – Single-phase version: 220-240 V, 50 Hz. – Three-phase version: 220-240/380-415 V, 50 Hz for powers up to 3 kW. 380-415/660-690 V, 50 Hz for powers above 3 kW.
• Efficiency levels: – IE2 for all single-phase motors and three-phase motors from 0.12-0.749 kW – IE3 for three-phase motors from 0.75-5.5 kW.
