EPV-FD and EPV-ID Vertical Electric Pumps

The EPV-FD and EPV-ID vertical centrifugal electric pumps are specifically designed for transferring highly abrasive liquids such as:

• Ceramic slips
• Glazes
• Dirty water with suspended solids
• Sludge
• Sand and grit
• Marble cutting chips
• Wastewater from steel plants
• Acids and other corrosive liquids

The motor is built with reinforced bearings to withstand high mechanical stress. The open-type impellers allow the passage of large suspended solids (consult our technical office for further details).

The pump bodies and impellers are coated with special anti-abrasion rubber compounds or constructed from hard materials (hardalloy).

The EPV-FD pump is designed to be installed inside the tank, while the EPV-ID pump is designed to be installed outside the tank.

This pump version can also run dry as it is seal-free. Both pumps must be installed with the motor positioned above the liquid level being pumped.

• Internal coatings: Interchangeable with various types of anti-wear rubber
• Impellers: Special alloys or coated with anti-wear rubber
• Seals: NBR, Viton, PTFE, Silicone, EPDM, etc.
• Operating temperature: Nitrile coating from -10°C to +90°C
• Operating temperature: Natural rubber coating from -10°C to +60°C
